"My God....IT\'S FULL OF STARS!!!"
This is the score to "2010:The Year We Make Contact" by Davis Shire. Although almost NEVER is the film referred to by it\'s full title, merely as "2010". It is quite dated by today\'s standards. Not to say that it\'s a bad score or it doesn\'t sound good. Not at all, quite the opposite in fact. What I mean by "dated" is that very much sounds like it is indeed from the 80\'s;very "electronic" sounding.
That said, it is a very powerful score. The \'Blaster Beam\' was used to great effect on this score, on the track "Reactivating Discovery". Film score aficionados will remember that the \'Blaster Beam\' was pioneered by Jerry Goldsmith on the score for "Star trek The Motion Picture" as the leitmotif for V\'ger,the alien probe.
It\'s a score that is definitely worth having in your library, and as far as I know there are NO other torrents of this score out there right now, which is why I\'m posting it. I have ripped it PROPERLY @320kbs from my own storebought cd and included an ultra hires album cover for your viewing pleasure so it looks better on your iPod or iPhone. All I ask is:
- That you please at least say "thank you",or leave me a kind comment of some kind.
- Please give my torrent a "thumbs up" if you like it so that it gains status and visibility
- Finally, PLEASE SEED THIS TORRENT as long as you can please! It takes the burden off my bandwidth and me personally as the sole seeder, and as you know, the more people that are seeding this, the more people can get it.I understand you may not be able to seed indefinitely, but please just seed for at least 24 hours. As always, i hope you enjoy my torrent.
